So, here’s the lowdown. On September 14th, 2005 I will leave my comfortable and predictable life by going on an approximately sixteen-hour flying adventure which will set me down in a little airport in England, about 30 miles away from my destination: Stockton.
I am going to be spending three months in England working for a friend of mine, Roger.
When I’m not working I will be living, exploring, and maybe even doing a little touristing. And I am going to use this blog and my NEW digital camera to keep all my curious friends and relatives updated.
Here are some of the key figures who I suspect will appear in my blog:
Roger: The head honcho of
(where I will be working), which is the British counterpart of
, which is basically the biggest online unicycle store that exists.
Claire: A friend of Roger’s who I will be living with.
A Dutch dancer: (picture also pending) that I just found out will also be living with Claire while I am there. Sounds like an adventure, huh?
My co-workers:
Miark: A unicycling and juggling extraordinaire, Roger’s right-hand man.
Leigh: One of the top freestyle unicyclists in the UK with loads of juggling and circus skills.
Simon: A skilled trail rider that sponsors and tests products in addition to working for Unicycle.com.
