Teacher: (after showing everyone a copy of one of my homework papers as an example for good creative writing) “Does this person want to identify themselves?”
Me: *uncomfortably raises hand*
Teacher: “Yes, it’s Hope, that quiet girl in the back of the class with the glasses.”
Guy sitting at my table: *leans over and whispers* “And the hair.”
